Pre-Press Specialist

Due to continued growth and success an excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Pre-Press Specialist to join the team.

Previous experience within a label printing environment essential, with strong reprographic skills.

Your duties will include:

• Creating final customer proofs from the initial supplied raw artwork
• Preparing print ready repro files ready for press (stepping, trapping etc)
• Collating job bags ready for production
• Output printing plates
• Adhere to all company procedures and policies
• Liase with Pre-Press manager to manage production schedules

You will be proficient in Adobe creative suite, especially Illustrator, a good knowledge of Heidelberg's Prinect Workflow would be a distinct advantage. You should be used to working within a busy pre-press environment, be resourceful and flexible, with excellent attention to detail. Ideally you will also have an understanding of Commercial Print and Flexo Print process.
